Invasion of the Boyd Clan

​Make arrangements to be at Elevation 3042 this evening as Liar's Dice will begin at 6:30. The BCC event calendar says 6:00, but that's just to account for "retiree time", which is very similar to Latino Standard Time or Arabic time.

For those of you who missed last week's exciting event, the prestigious UFLDP Cup was taken home by Randall Boyd. However, it seems there had to be much planning and collusion in play leading up to the games as multiple generations of the Boyd Clan showed up and proceeded to hoodwink everyone else who had attended merely for a nice friendly game. Although UFLDP Executive Committee was unable to detect any illegal skullduggery we think it is obvious that something was afoot as the final 2 was a matchup of Randall against his lovely bride Karen. Additional investment in detection equipment and AI technology will be employed to ensure good, honest liars are able to have an honest opportunity against the Boyd horde tonight.   


The previous week's champion was Ginger Naudain, sort of. While she took home the UFLDP Cup and displayed it proudly on the mantle at the palatial Naudain estate it was returned surreptitiously in the middle of the night to UFLDP headquarters. Apparently there was an illegal use of undergarments to obscure the number of chips during match play (or something like that) and apparently the shame was too much to handle.

Finally in important yet unrelated news: Eliza and Mike beat Ralph and Bill P in pickleball 11-3.
