For immediate release by the Office of the Commissioner of UFLDP
While the wildly unorthodox playing style that has come to define the UFLDP, sponsored by Heineken®, career of Melanie Warr is one of the great mysteries of the universal Liars Dice community, there's always been numerous theories as to the origins of that style. The consensus has always been that certainly there is a "method to the madness".
Well this past Friday evening a stunning revelation was made by the new reigning UFLDP, sponsored by Heineken®, champion.
"I hate fives and sixes."
That's right. While it may be that a "couple of vodkas (potentially sponsored by Smirnoff)" prompted Melanie to finally fess up to her puzzling approach to some games, the UFLDP, sponsored by Heineken®, community was dumbstruck at finally learning of the root of her strategy. Or were they?
As this revelation was being digested by her competitors, Melanie was systematically taking each of them out of the competition, one by one.
During the final showdown with Thomas "The" Cheeseman, Melanie was able to send him packing with a magnificent bluff of "four 5's". That's right, she painted Cheese into a corner with an incredible fake-er-oo that relied on her hated fives. A few participants were nearly in tears as Melanie grasped the legendary UFLDP Cup, sponsored by Heineken®, to stage on the mantle of the Warr Estate.
Truly breathtaking.
