For immediate release by the Office of the Commissioner of UFLDP
It seems there was some unfortunate confusion that churned through the Burlingame rumor mill recently. A former UFLDP, sponsored by Heineken®, champion was NOT convicted earlier this month on felony gun charges. Instead it was Hunter Biden, son of the current US president, not Hunter Boyd, illustrious UFLDP Liars Dice champion and recent UNC graduate.
When approached by a member of the crack marketing staff for comment on the conviction, UFLDP athlete Karen Boyd, parent of former champion Hunter Boyd, rained down a barrage of blows to the head and neck of the staffer.
While it is unknown how this horrific mixup occurred, it is important to consider that the DP in UFLDP, sponsored by Heineken®, may stand for “plausible deniability”. Also, the UFLDP commissioner "caught a few strays" in the process but cooler heads eventually prevailed.
This Saturday Night at the historic Pete Myles Pavilion at Miller’s Falls the next gathering of Liars will take place at 6PM.
You may be wondering why the delay in holding the next Liars Dice showdown? It seems a good deal of arm twisting was required for UFLDP athlete Nancy Salyer to give up the historic UFLDP Cup won by her raffish spouse.
Apparently it fits so well with her decorating style she has commissioned an exact replica, so the 2024 season of liars can continue.
Trivia, hopefully sponsored by Heineken® and the UFLDP, continues on Tuesday, July 9 at BCC.
Be sure to sign up on the BCC app or website as spots are filling up fast. The potential lure of fabulous Heineken family swag and prizes is making the next trivia night a MUST ATTEND event.
Trivia Bwana Russ Small’s contract demands continue to delay an official announcement of corporate sponsorship, but hopefully a visit to Burlingame by Heineken brass can resolve the impasse.
UFLDP, sponsored by Heineken®, Setting Global Interwebs Ablaze
With the launch of the UFLDP Instagram and Facebook pages the groundswell of excitement over the recent exponential growth of the UFLDP is having a huge impact on its corporate sponsors. Tecate Executive Director Ivan Villanueva noted, "There really seems to be a groundswell of excitement over the recent exponential growth of the UFLDP", and HEINEKEN’s CEO and Chairman of the Executive Board Dolf van den Brink added, "where are we on the restraining order"?
